Five days after turning 30 I headed for the hills to play with my new toys (altimeter, osprey farpoint, lightweight stove etc) and bag a few more Wainwrights. I was met with some of the best walking weather all year, as a result of which the views were spectacular and I was able to sleep tentless next to lake Buttermere and watch the moon rise. An early start meant that I also beat the sunrise to my first summit on the Sunday, giving me an incredible dawn view over Keswick. So, here are the Wainwrights I can add to my list;
